Why was Germany defeated in World War II?
Germany was defeated because of poor strategies and decisions made by Hitler. Initially, Hitler made a decision to attack Soviet Union. On the other hand Germany was also losing its air war with Britain because Britain had more advanced and technological efficient radar system at that time. Additionally, Hitler also refused to provide tank division to protect against Allied Invasion. This decision also proved as wrong because at the other side, Allied Invasion had already entered Europe. Germany was already having a war situation and at that time.
Hitler took one more wrong decision by declaring war with United States because United States allowed Britain military to use US shipping to continue their war with Germany (even though United States was neutral and it was also having war with Japan).
At that time US economical condition was much better than Germany. The Sherman Tank (United States) were not powerful and innovated when contrasted with the German Panzer tanks; but Sherman tanks were larger in number than German Panzer tanks. Germany made so many enemies at that time which made it weaker and hence got defeated.
