When was Education system in Germany created?

Germany education system was not created at once or in a while but It took several years. When we look back into history, Lutheranism has great impact in Germany education system. In 18th century, kingdom of Prussia introduced free and primary education that have 8 years of course of basic education. After the period of emperors, four different types of secondary education was introduced in German empire in 1871 that includes Gymnasium, Realgymnasium, Realschule and Oberrealschule.
